Affiliate Manager

She started her first company, Once Wed, at the age 21 and grew it to one of the most highly respected online wedding resources in the world. She sold that company in 2018 to focus all her time as CEO of If I Made.  With over 100 successful courses launched, If I Made is one of the most popular online learning platforms for creative entrepreneurs hosting courses from top wedding industry experts.

TASKS + ACCOUNTABILITIES
Overall:
  • You will work alongside If I Made’s CEO, Director of Marketing, and Director of Paid Search to build and manage our internal affiliate program in partnership with our student community.
Daily:
  • Check in the partner Facebook groups and email accounts to answer questions, on board new affiliate partners, and assist our current affiliate partners with any questions or concerns.
  • Be a cheerleader for our affiliates encouraging and nurturing them during live launches.
  • Craft pitches and other outreach to new affiliate partners. Track collaborations and connections and keep our connection database updated.
Weekly:
  • Draft and publish communication to our partners via email and in the partner Facebook groups
  • Attend weekly team meeting with a prepared update on your metrics (pitches sent and accepted, number of partners on board for our next launch, partners who have completed milestones, and more)
  • Run weekly partner success meeting to provide updated metrics and ideas for growing our partnerships
  • Research potential podcasts/media outlets/people to connect with and pitch for partnerships
  • Work with our content team to develop story ideas and pitches for you to send out
As Needed:
  • Set up Google Drive folders and documents for new partners and track their progress
  • Schedule and lead all Affiliate Partner sessions and support If I Made in gathering resources for sessions
  • Test all partner content to make sure they have access to the right items
  • Test all partner links to make sure they’re tracking properly
  • Help compile, prepare and/or update our partner assets and content
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the partner program during our multiple launches throughout the year across all different industries
  • Be the concierge support point of contact for all affiliate partners
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures and capture processes wherever possible in the business
Qualifications:
  • Complete comfort working virtually 100% of the time. You do well working from home and have strong boundaries.
  • This role requires the ability to work cohesively within a team as well as independently, as you will own your entire project and hold yourself accountable to your timeline. You will also be receiving guidance, support, and ideas from our entire team.
  • You’re an organizational genius. We communicate with dozens of people on a monthly basis and our goal is to make every interaction with each of those individuals a happy one, which involves keeping detailed records and notes.
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, the online course industry.
  • Upbeat, resourceful self-starter able to work in a dynamic environment with limited oversight.
  • Extremely strong people skills… hopefully that’s been made clear by now!
  • Please note: Although this is a part time position, this is not the right for you if you have a traditional 9-5 job and only available to work nights/weekends as we’ll need you to be available during daytime hours.
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in the online education sphere
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, and/or running an affiliate program
  • Online course launch experience

Webinar Content Writer and Producer

List of Duties:
  • Work with If I Made experts to craft compelling, marketing-driven sales webinars.
  • Collaborate with If I Made’s content strategist to refine a lecture that provides a free educational opportunity to students while leaving them wanting to learn more.
  • Get on weekly conference calls with experts to work through content until the webinar is approved by the marketing department. We’re looking for someone who can write, edit, revise, write, and revise again.
  • Work with graphic designer to plan out webinar presentation materials.
  • Coordinate with expert to edit or craft a “live” demonstration for webinar.
Skillset:
  • Familiarity with online educational content, online courses, and sales webinars.
  • Comfortable giving feedback and guiding experts to craft the best webinar experience for our students.
  • Experience managing your own deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English grammar and excellent written communication skills.
  • Skilled at public speaking and presentations (in addition to writing an educational and sales webinar, you are responsible for teaching our experts how to present the material in the most captivating way).
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in the online education sphere

  • Background in weddings
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Powerpoint
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
