Full Time Social Media + Affiliate Manager

Our online courses are created for a wide range of professionals, ranging from Floral Design Wedding Planning, and Cake Design to Photography! Our courses not only cover the creative aspects, but we also dive into the business aspects such as pricing, marketing, and client management.

Our company’s founder, Emily Newman, has been a recognized as an expert in creative entrepreneurship. She started her first company, Once Wed, at the age 21 and grew it to one of the most highly respected online wedding resources in the world. She sold that company in 2018 to focus all her time as CEO of If I Made.  With over 100 successful courses launched, If I Made is one of the most popular online learning platforms for creative entrepreneurs hosting courses from top wedding industry experts.

List of Duties:
  • Repurposing content for use on social media channels
  • Working with marketing manager to coordinate calendar of social messaging with email marketing messaging
  • Using sales copy from our copywriter and implementing all social channels including Facebook Instagram
  • Creating compelling content for Instagram and possible other social media channels
  • Daily posting on all channels in line with the If I Made brand aesthetic and voice
  • Lead the affiliate program during our multiple launches throughout the year across all different industries
  • Craft pitches and other outreach to new affiliate partners
  • Track collaborations and connections and keep our connection database updated
  • Draft and publish communication to our partners via email and in the partner Facebook groups
  • Schedule and lead all Affiliate Partner sessions and support If I Made in gathering resources for sessions
  • Be a cheerleader for our affiliates by encouraging and nurturing them during live launches
  • Check in on the partner Facebook groups and email accounts to answer questions, on-board new affiliate partners, and assist our current affiliate partners with any questions or concerns
  • Schedule and lead all Affiliate Partner sessions and support If I Made in gathering resources for sessions
  • Research potential podcasts/media outlets/people to connect with and pitch for partnerships
  • Sales-driven marketing experience
  • Ability to mimic If I Made’s aesthetic and the aesthetic of the experts we partner with
  • Use of all social media platforms and analytics for platforms
  • Previous experience in social media management
  • Previous experience on working in online course launches
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, and/or running an affiliate program
  • Complete comfort working virtually 100% of the time. You do well working from home and have strong boundaries.
  • This role requires the ability to work cohesively within a team as well as independently, as you will own your entire project and hold yourself accountable to your timeline. You will also be receiving guidance, support, and ideas from our entire team.
  • You’re an organizational genius. We communicate with dozens of people on a monthly basis and our goal is to make every interaction with each of those individuals a happy one, which involves keeping detailed records and notes.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the online course industry.
  • Upbeat, resourceful self-starter able to work in a dynamic environment with limited oversight.
  • Extremely strong people skills… hopefully that’s been made clear by now!
